Heather Honeyed Venison Pie

Slow cooked, flavour full home cooking.

Scottish venison supplied by our local estate is slow cooked over night in heather honey (courtesy of our local bee keeper) juniper berries and orange zest until the meat has picked up the flavours and is supremely tender. So delicious.
Serving suggestion – Served with a full bodied red wine, don?t forget the red currant jelly and some roasted root vegetables.

Cooking Instructions –
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F – Gas Mark 4).
Remove all packaging. Pop in pie for 25-30 minutes
Storage –
Keep refrigerated below 5 degrees C.  Product suitable for home freezing. Freeze within use by date for 6 months.
Fully defrost under refrigeration prior to reheating. Use within 24 hours of defrosting.
